What Is Meditation?

The topic of our this article is "What is meditation?" It is very difficult to define "meditation" in one or two sentences. If we study the available definitions of Meditation, we'll see many highly artistic but apparently vague OR unclear definitions.

Now these definitions are "vague" or "unclear" for two reasons—
  1. Actually those are vague. The speaker has not understood anything, and is just repeating the word like a parrot or giving wrong information.
  2. We, the readers, don't have ability to grasp the meaning of the speaker's word.

Meditation may be described as—
A training of mind that makes the organ fit to concentrate only on a certain point or object. A primary aim of meditation is develop the ability to concentrate on a single point.
